Loman Park is located on the corner of Hempfield Drive and Loman Ave. Loman Park is a great example of neighborhood pride. Volunteers from this area have came together and organized themselves initially into three groups: planning, fundraising, and labor. As a result of their efforts, families now have a park in which teens can practice jump shots and foul shots on the basketball court, or play 3 on 3 at the sand volleyball court. Seniors can throw horse shoes with a friend or just have a family picnic at the pavilion. Children can explore the large play structure, build sandcastles in the volleyball court, or rocket to the sun on the swings!
