Summer Playground Staff + Counselors-In-Training (CIT)
Applications for the 2026 summer will be accepted 1/1/26 – 3/1/26.
Applications will be accepted for the following positions –
- Playground Staff/Counselors (ages 16+)
- Counselors-In-Training (CIT) (ages 13-15)
*CIT’s who have worked for us in the past must re-apply for the position. Paid staff who are offered a position to return do NOT need to fill out an application.
Coaches
- Tee Ball (May)
- Soccer (August-September)
Head coaches receive 100% off of their child’s registration. Assistant coaches receive 50% off their child’s registration. You will mark your interest in coaching when registering your child.
Contracted Program Instructors
There are many reasons to work as a Program Instructor with the WMT Parks and Rec Department. As an independent contractor, you will reap the benefits of sharing your skills with the community, whilst working a schedule that suits you and your lifestyle; this is a great opportunity to work your magic! If you have the expertise to teach a sport, craft, or hobby, we want to hear about it! Submit a “Program Proposal Form” today! Please note that this is not a guarantee that the program you propose will be offered but this is the first step in the application process.
Seasons: Winter (January – March), Spring/ Summer (April – August), Fall (September – December)
Interested subjects: Pre-school, financial, sign language, foreign languages, etc.
