BOARD OF SUPERVISORS VACANCY
The West Manchester Township Board of Supervisors is accepting letters of interest from any registered voter who has resided in West Manchester Township for at least one (1) year, for an appointment to serve on the Board of Supervisors. The appointed individual will serve the remainder of a current term through December 31, 2027. The vacancy will be created as a result of both Supervisor George Margetas and Supervisor Ronald Ruman pursuing election to the vacant PA House of Representatives seat for the 196th district.
Duties of a Board member include but are not limited to setting policy, enacting ordinances and resolutions, adopting the budget, levying taxes and general governance of the Township to ensure sound fiscal management and to secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens.

HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (1 POSITION AVAILABLE)
West Manchester Township is seeking one (1) candidate for the position of Highway Department Equipment Operator. This position consists of constructing and maintaining roads, storm sewers, inlets, swales, and ditches, building maintenance and grounds, assist with park maintenance, operates and maintains heavy equipment including a backhoe, dump truck, roller, paver, mini-ex, loader, street sweeper, leaf collector, and snowplow. Operates, maintains, and repairs small hand tools, power tools, mowers, and tractors. This position conducts a majority of their duties in the outdoors and often is subjected to inclement weather. Must be available for on-call duty in times of snow and similar emergencies. A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required with a minimum of two years’ experience in construction equipment operation is preferred.
