[Effective June 30, 2016, M&T bank will no longer accept any sewer and trash payments for West Manchester Township.
All payments must be mailed to our lock box at this address: West Manchester Township, PO BOX 62542, Baltimore, MD 21264-2542.
The Township office will not accept any payments unless prior arrangements have been made with the Billing Officer.
This change is necessary to ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner and without errors. Payments posted to your account on or before the due date will not be assessed a late fee. Please include your payment coupon to ensure proper crediting to your account. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.
West Manchester Township has two sewer districts and are billed at separate times. The following is a pdf showing the current year billing dates and due dates.
Customers (property owners) of West Manchester Township are billed quarterly for three (3) months usage. Residential customers are billed on a flat rate. Commercial customers are billed on a flat rate plus any additional assessment based on their water usage. For commercial, any amount of water used over 31,800 gallons is assessed an additional charge of $8.00 for every 1,000 gallons used over the threshold.
Water to Shiloh customers is provided by the West Manchester Township Water Authority (located at 2115 Log Cabin Rd.), Information regarding their collection method and water quality can be found on their website: http://www.shilohwater.org/
Water to Lincolnway customers is provided by the York Water Company. https://www.yorkwater.com/
The Township has several ways to make your sewer payment. The Township Office will not accept sewer and refuse payments made at the campus except if prior arrangements have been made with the Billing Officer. To ensure your account is current, please use one of the three methods below:

On-line Bill Payment
Online bill payment is a fast, simple and secure way to pay your sewer/trash bills. Our online payment system will accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Payments made through Civic Pay will not be charged a fee.
In order to proceed and assure your payment is properly credited to your account, you will need your West Manchester Township account number, which can be found on your sewer/trash bill and a valid email address to receive a receipt.
IF YOU ARE MAKING A PAYMENT BECAUSE OF A SHUT-OFF NOTICE, YOU MUST CONTACT THE TOWNSHIP BY CALLING (717) 792-3505 WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER IMMEDIATELY AFTER PROCESSING YOUR PAYMENT.
PUBLIC ASSISTANCE GRANTS FOR LATE SEWER BILLS
The Township is providing information regarding two grants that are available to assist you, if you qualify, with your past due sewer bills. These grant opportunities are through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States Government, not the Township. As such, the Township makes or implies no guarantee that you will qualify for either of the grants. Either grant could cover a portion (up to the grant limit) of the sewer portion of your past due bill.
