West Manchester Township parks exist for the enjoyment and recreation of the community. Park users must be respectful of property and other park users. Natural resources and wildlife are to be preserved.
PARK HOURS – Dawn to Dusk. No overnight parking.
BEHAVIOR/COURTESY – Avoid offensive language or behavior. Keep music volume reasonable.
LIABILITY – Renters are responsible for the behavior of their guests. Renters must provide adequate supervision and protection of minors. In granting permission to use of township parks, WMT assumes no liability for individuals attending the renter’s event.
Bounce houses/inflatables are NOT permitted with a rental, not associated with the township.
Dogs are permitted at the following parks: Sunset Lane Park, Dunedin Park, Westgate Park, and the Little Conewago Conservation Area. They must be kept on a leash no longer than 6′. Owners must dispose of waste appropriately. Dogs may not be left off-leash on trails or in open spaces. Violators will be fined.
All West Manchester properties are alcohol-free and tobacco-free. West Manchester is a Young Lungs at Play! Community.

ARCHERY HUNTING IN WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP

Archery Hunting is permitted in Little Conewago Creek or Derry Conservation Areas with permit and approval from West Manchester Township.

Hunters must fill out the Archery Hunting Agreement and pick-up a permit from the township prior to archery season.

To ensure availability, we strongly encourage reservations for park and pavilion usage. Rest room keys (Sunset Lane and Broad Street Parks) are available only to renters.
Summer 2025: To make a reservation, come in person with cash or check to the Township building (380 E Berlin Road) or mail cash/check in with your rental application. Call 717-792-3505 to check availability (MON-FRI 8:00AM – 4:30PM)
Summer 2025: Full payment is required at the time to confirm a reservation. Only cash and check accepted.
Fall 2025: Reservations after 8/1/25 can be made online on RECDESK 24/7, paid with a credit card or be made in person during business hours with cash, check, credit card.
Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least a week in advance, during normal business hours, in order to reschedule your reservation. Rental fees will NOT be refunded, but you have until the end of the calendar year to reschedule your reservation.
Renters must clean up and dispose of trash by the end of their rental period. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rentals: A trash bag and sticker are provided to you at no additional cost. You MUST take the trash bag with you to dispose of. Do NOT leave it at the park, or you will be charged the $25 deposit.

Non-resident rates will be implemented starting 8/1/25. A $25 security deposit is required for reservations wanting use of the Sunset Lane Park restrooms* (restroom key) or required for Friday-Sunday renters for a trash bag/sticker (trash bag fee). A trash bag and WMT sticker (residents only) will be provided to renters. Friday-Sunday renters MUST TAKE ALL TRASH WITH THEM or it will result in forfeiture of the $25 security deposit.
