Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township, York County, Pennsylvania, that a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the Code of the Township of West Manchester, Zoning, will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the West Manchester Township offices, 380 Easter Berlin Road, York, PA.
The Ordinance proposing the amendment to the Code of the Township of West Manchester is entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST MANCHESTER, CHAPTER 150, SECTION 150-291, TO PERMIT THE RESTORATION OF A NONCONFORMITY WHICH IS DESTROYED BY REASON OF WINDSTORM, FIRE, EXPLOSION, OR OTHER ACT OF GOD.”
The proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance amends the Code of West Manchester Township to permit by right the rebuilding, repair, or restoration of a nonconformity after destruction of the nonconformity due to fire, explosion or other act of God.
The Board of Supervisors proposes to adopt the amendment to the Code of the Township of West Manchester at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board immediately following the aforesaid hearing.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined without charge at the Township offices during normal business hours. A copy of the proposed Ordinance has been filed with the York Newspaper and the York Law Research Center, 45 N. George St., York, PA. Interested citizens are invited to attend the aforesaid public hearing and the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors or West Manchester Township immediately following the public hearing and offer comments on the proposed amendment to the Code of the Township of West Manchester.
