GENERAL INFO / REGISTRATION
Registration
CURRENT -SUMMER 2025: Fill out a registration form and drop off during business hours 8am-4:30pm M-F or mail (380 E Berlin Rd York, PA 17408) with cash or check payment.

NEW – FALL 2025: Customers must go online to RECDESK to create an account in order to register for a program or reserve a facility. Registration will be available online 24/7 (paying with credit card) or in person during business hours 8am-4:30pm M-F (paying with cash, check, credit card). Registration will open on 8/1/25 for Fall 2025 Programs.

Payment
- Payment is required at the time of registration. Currently, we accept cash and checks made payable to West Manchester Township. Credit cards will be accepted starting 8/1/25.
Why Are There Two Prices?
- Residents of West Manchester Township receive a discounted rate on recreation fees. Proof of residency required. Non-resident are persons who live in / pay taxes to a municipality other than the WMT.
Communication
Don’t Wait Until the Last Minute to Sign Up for a Program!
Most programs have a minimum number of participants needed to cover the expenses or to make it enjoyable. If you see a program you like, don’t hesitate, sign up today!
No News is Good News!
Once you have registered for a program, you will not hear from our office unless:
- There is a change in the time or day.
- Cancellation due to illness or inclement weather.
- The program has to be cancelled, due to insufficient registration.
So, mark your calendar and plan to attend!
Injury
Participation in our recreation programs/special events is at your own risk. We advise participants to carry their own accident/liability insurance.
Cancellations / Refund Policy
RECREATION PROGRAMS:
- A 10% administrative fee will be deducted from ALL refunds (except insufficient registration cancellations).
- Multi-Week Programs: Program cancellations before the second class: an administrative fee equal to one day’s participation per person will be withheld from the refund + 10% administration fee. No refunds will be given after the second class.
- One-Day Programs: Refunds for one day programs/events must be made at least one week in advance & are NOT possible after the program/event has taken place. This is to ensure there is enough enrollment to hold the program and in fairness to the instructor.
We reserve the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration in which case a full refund will be issued.

RESERVATIONS:
If you find it necessary to cancel a reservation, you must notify our office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Cancellation of a rental reservation should be made at least one week prior to the date reserved. Rental fees will be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee.
- If you cancel a reservation less than 7 days prior to the date reserved, no refund will be given. However, if you reschedule, we will apply your previous payment to a future reservation date or to your account to use in the future.
Upon determination of the Parks and Recreation Department, the rental fees may be refunded in the case of extreme weather and not be charged the 10% cancellation fee.
